Sentieri Barocchi is an experimental project focused on cultural, aesthetic, performative features connecting baroque culture and new media art. It is based on different live events, workshops, short residency projects and it has been conceived as a journey through the most evocative monuments and landscapes of Irpinia region, inspired by the Baroque universe. The aim is to experiment new connections between new media aesthetics and baroque culture, between the multiform shapes of electronic arts and an artistic season in which the Western world has experimented for the first time a new cultural space: “it shows new perspectives unknown before […] and exalts the genius in its absolute freedom” (Giulio Ferroni).
