What is the position of the classicist in the post-digital era? What is the role of the researcher in Greek/Latin literature and language in our epoch? What kind of perspective the classicist can have both in the extradisciplinary training and in the occupational position?

This article delves into a discussion on these themes, introducing some elements focused on a possible meeting point between the professional profile of classicists and the query of vertical experts whose expertise can be spent in projecting and producing cultural artifacts in the “infosphere” of web 2.0.

In particular, the article interjects into the discourse about the changes of humanistic and literary science related with methods, tools and languages of digital and with media change of printed textuality.

From the analysis of the new modalities of interaction between traditional and digital text to a recognition on some cultural paradigms born in the Classical era and later emerged again in the post-modern and digital epoch, new possible spaces of intervention for the humanists and classicists in the 21th century are here hypotesized and exhamined.
